Human must have dreamt something really really scary last night because instead of saying “Good morning, my dearest Sintra. What would you like for breakfast this morning?”

“OMG, Sintra, what have you done this time?”, Human said.

I was – like …. “Ugh, I haven’t done nothing. Nothing at all. I swear!”

But then, Human pointed at her Aloe Vera plant and she said, “Nothing? Really? Who has knocked my Aloe Vera, Rusty the stuffed Rat?”

“Rusty? Of course not but let me explain, there was an unknown ginger kitten that looked a lot like me. He was the one who knocked over your Aloe Vera”, I said.

“Really, he did”, I added.

“You know that I don’t believe you because you are the one and only ginger kitten in this house – in this entire building”, Human said.

“Ow, really? Well, in that case, I might be the one who knocked over your Aloe Vera”, I explained.

“Might? You are the one who knocked over it!” Human insisted.

“I said I might be because there is no proof that it was me. Even if there were then it wouldn’t and couldn’t have been my fault. You know that the Aloe Vera always looks at me in a very funny way”, I added.

“Sintra, Aloe Vera is a plant. It doesn’t look at you in a funny way, in fact, it doesn’t look at you at all!”, Human said.

“But it did look at me in a very funny way last night and did it again this early morning!”, I answered.

“So, you are now admitting that it was you who knocked over it?”, Human asked.

“No, I am not and I’ll have to refuse to talk to you any further without my lawyer”, I answered.

“No, you don’t have a lawyer, Sintra. I don’t understand why you are being so naughty this morning”, Human said.

“Well, neither do I. Let me understand it over breakfast, please?!” I said.

Human didn’t response back but she did give me my breakfast and kisses as usual this morning. Nom nom! Yummy!

So, what are the most important lessons that you – younger kittens – should learn from my experience with Human’s Aloe Vera?

Do NOT look directly into the camera and keep jumping around if your Human starts to have your photos taken at your crime scenes. Some hopelessly blurry photos are not exactly proof of anything other than blurry photos 🙂
