Sintra's weekend activities: Catching the rat and the springtime

Human and I were planning to do some outdoor activities last weekend. Human wanted to show me how to ride on the front side of her bicycle. Well, I have ridden on her bicycle before – on the rear side of her bicycle, inside my backpack – to be precise.

But,

The weather suddenly turned bad and Human was worried that it was going to rain. You know, raining and being cat are not made in heaven. So, we had to improvise and do some indoor activities instead.

First of, we played “Catching The Rat”, in which Human threw the rat and I had to catch it in one single attempt. Whenever I caught it, I’d get some snacks. Yeah, I’ll do anything for snacks, including catching the rat (the fake one, of course) that happened to be one of my besties, Rusty The Rat.

And suddenly ….

“We’ll take a 30-minute break, okay?” said Human and I was like, “Okay! But can I get some extra snacks?”, I meowed.

“I don’t think so. Why?”, Human asked.

“Well, because you want take a break and I don’t”, I explained.

“I don’t think so, my boy”, Human insisted.

Well, if you insist, Human!!!

“Stop it! Don’t look at me like that! You are scaring me!”, Human screamed.

“Well, I’ll stop when I got some extra snacks”, I insisted.

“Very well, here have some!”, Human said.

Yum yum yummy!

The next morning, the weather seemed to be improving. Human showed me her orchid that’s started to blossom. Human said that it was a sign that the springtime was about to start. Well, I hope so because I have got tired of the winter’s cold.

Welcome Spring!
