Human was very unwell and she did not up for traveling during the last christmas and holiday season. So, Human decided to invite some of our relatives to have a small holiday gathering at our home.

Before our relatives arrived, Human kept reminding me that I had behave well in front of – and preferably be nice to them. I was like, “Whatever, Momma. They are actually your relatives, not mine”.

And then the day came and Human insisted that I should wear my holiday sweater. Although I hated it but I had to admit that the sweater was cozy and super comfy – great for this kind of cold weather. I was pretty sure that my goldfish, Chikie was jealous of my red holiday sweater.

So, eat your heart out, chikie!

It’s my second holiday by the way but I was too tiny to remember my first one. So, it felt like it was my very first holiday with Human. Human prepared gourmet dinner for the guests so she didn’t have to cook.

I had no idea what gourmet was but it obviously involved lots of uncooked vegetables, uncooked fruits and uncooked fake meat or as Human called them “meat substitutes”.  I loved to sniff all the food but then our guests arrived, and I spent the rest of the evening keeping my distant from them.

Did I mention that I hated our guests? I didn’t hate, hate them, I just didn’t like them the way I like my Human. Thanks God that Human gave me a lot of my favorite food that evening so I went to bed with my belly full. Yummy! So, I guess I love our small holiday gathering after all.
