Twee weeks ago on August 28th was my 4th birthday. Human said that I became a bigger and a lot cooler, ginger boy. Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!

However, when Human thought that I was fine with my own birthday candles – as I was just fine with them on my 2nd birthday, it turned out that my birthday candles phobia was back!

It’s back. Very much alive and Kicking!

It was a bummer for Human but it was fun for me to watch Human trying to reduce the number of my birthday candles from 4 to 3, and from 3 to 2, and then from 2 to 1 candle. Still, I was NOT fine with it. AT ALL. I hated it. I didn’t want to be near, next or around it. Period!

Human said that one single birthday candle would be absolutely fine, and I should make a wish and try to blow it, or at least be in front of it as Human would help blow it for me. But, but, but no way I was going to do all that. NO WAY!

So, after have sang “Happy Birthday” together, Human blew my birthday candle for me, and right afterward I had to make really, really sure that there was no birthday candle or something similar on my birthday meal.

Finally, it was time I had been waiting for — to enjoy my birthday meal without those scary birthday candles staring at me.

Yes! Yummy!

There, I was accompanied by my besties, Snoopy the kitty, Rusty the rat and my newly pet, Sisi the ginger kitty aka Chester Flopsie, which was one of my 4th birthday presents.

Human also got me a lot of other presents, including some dry food by Feringa (NL). As always, I was not at all interested in my presents because I was actually more focused on my birthday meal, which I loved very much. I just wished that my birthday candles were not there to start with. Can I have my birthday meal without birthday candles next year, Human? I hope so!
